I have been painting murals for about 10 years. I love painting murals because it has always been hard for me to squeeze all my drawings and paintings into the confines of a paper or a canvas. I love having the vast expanse on which to create such as an entire blank wall. The process of looking at a blank wall, having a vision of what it could be, and then seeing it come to life absolutely thrills me. I can create small adornments, full wall murals, trompe l’oiel, or even floor or ceiling paintings. I do home installations as well as large canvas mounted murals, such as the one in Whitaker Bank. Sports Room—with painted boxes to frame posters, center sports mural, corkboard painted like a football field, and painted shelves,

Circus--themed Nursery with Painted Banding around wall, Name Banner, Circus Window Valance, Circus Train, Clown above closet door, and handmade paper mache hot air balloons. Also painted chest, shelves, and mirror to match room.

Formica countertops painted to look like granite. Were bright red formica previously.

Faux Travertine Tiled Countertop. This counter was white formica that was stained and could not be cleaned, so I faux painted it tile. So far, everyone that has seen it has been fooled and thinks it is real tile until they are told it isn't. This is a very low cost solution to beautify your counters. Tile can be very expensive and this treatment can be done for only a few hundred dollars.

Was a typical build-in painted white and homeowner wanted it to look more like an individual piece of distressed furniture.

Clouds Nursery—This room had very unusual ceilings. It is in an old farmhouse upstairs. I just painted the ceilings and walls together. It has blue sky with clouds all over and then on one wall there is a face in the clouds blowing well wishes to the baby.

This is a corner of a ceiling inset mural of clouds. I painted only an inset to give the image that you were viewing the sky from a "window" in the ceiling. This was in a baby's nursery, but could go in a bathroom, or bedroom of any age. It creates a very serene peaceful space.

Storybook Nursery—This customer wanted a non-specific storybook nature scene to adorn one wall of the nursery and a banner over the crib that says Sweet Angels Blessed the day you were born and is delivered by two white doves. The sky is painted on the ceiling with a foot of white all around to give the feeling of a tray ceiling with a skylight in the center so the baby would have something to look at while lying in the crib.

Bathroom Mural-- with Topiary in Urn and Ivy and twig adornments around doorways and mirror.

This was a well worn coffee table with some nicks and scratches and candle burns on it. A customer brought it in and I painted it to go with her existing decor.

The mouse ran up the clock, hickory dickory dock. The clock is an actual clock that works. I painted the face on it and then painted the mural around it.

Nighty Night Owls to sing a song goodnight to a little girl who loves nature. She now has a very colorful, yet serene room to float off to sleep in...

This is in the same room as the owls, it is a really old home. It has 3 brick walls and 1 and a 1/2 regular walls. We painted the walls a lavender blue with a poly stripe then added the monogram above the bed, the owls and moon above the door and some little yellow birds above the far window. See next picture. It turned out to be a wonderful room.

Customer already had quote painted on wall and wanted to save it, so to incorporate it into the rest of the room, I painted a banner around it, and added butterflies, one for each twin in her likeness to carry the banner

Pink Striped canopy painted onto ceiling and painted bamboo posts painted in corners of room and anchored with pink ribbons. Tone on tone medallion painted in metallic bone on creamy white walls.

Hand painted cabinets, counter tops and walls, and tile backsplash for a complete makeover in this lovely kitchen.
